CASCA stands for Camden School's Community Association. It is the school's parent and community association and has two main objectives:
1. Fundraising to enable the school to continue to offer outstanding education despite funding cuts and rising costs.
2. Organising social activities and networking to support the Camden School for Girls community.
We run a series of annual social and fundraising events, including the Jumble Sale, Quiz Night and SummerFest. We also organise a Welcome Evening for parents new to the school.
In recent years CASCA's activities have (like much else) been limited by COVID-19. However, we are working hard to get things back to normal. CASCA events are back, and the money raised has helped fund everything from much-needed improvements to the school's outdoor areas to much-wanted equipment for the library and workshops. A huge thank you to everyone who has organised, helped and donated.
You may be wondering if you can help - the answer is YES! You are all part of CASCA and your ideas and support are vital. We are always ready to welcome new volunteers, new leaders, new ideas and energy! In the coming year we hope to add a Fun Run and a Careers Fair to our events, and to increase fundraising to support the school through increasingly difficult times - but we can only do it with your help.
CASCA is run entirely by volunteers. If you are willing to participate in any way, please contact Annabel and Sandra, CASCA vice-chairs on casca@csg.school. We are always open to new ideas - or take a look at the list of events below and get in touch if you might be able to help with planning or running one.
On Founder‘s Day 2017 we started a 60for60 campaign to mark 60 years at Sandall Road with a target of £60,000 to help modernise classrooms, common areas and the dining hall. In fact £105,000 was raised and in May 2018 Baroness Gail Rebuck declared these new areas open.
In 2018, CASCA funded the creation of the new astroturf multi use games area.
The school is also surrounded by a living green wall neutralising pollution from the main road and giving our students increased privacy.

Easyfundraising - Camden School for Girls
Donate via the donate button below:
The Easyfundraising scheme donates a small percentage of your online purchases to your chosen cause, at NO COST to you. The money is contributed by the companies you purchase from. Hundreds of popular retailers are part of the scheme, including Argos, Amazon, John Lewis, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's and many more, including most UK train companies, car rentals, airlines, utilities, phone and broadband companies.
It takes 2 minutes to set up, and it’s very straightforward:
A friendly, rotating team of volunteers helps out with specific CASCA events and runs the bar for school events. Joining the team is a great way to meet other parents, and you can do as much or as little as you are able. If you are interested in joining, please contact Annabel and Sandra at casca@csg.school.
